"E ora ai te reo, me kōrero"

Tāria te wā ka tū he whare kai kōrero Māori mā ngā tauira, koinei tētahi o ngā tino wawata o Te Akatoki.

The purpose of this initiative is to encourage students to speak te reo Māori in everyday contexts, so that the language becomes a normalised and living language at UC going forward. We eventually hope to establish a Māori speaking café, owned and operated by Te Akatoki and we are taking steps in order to realise this dream.
